For the Third in a row, the annual exhibition of the Visual Communication Department at Shenkar marks this year’s trends in ideological and visual aspects, and reflects the moods Of a fascinating student generation, who has grown into a digital world, speaking the language of emojis as if it was poetry and spend hours in virtual spaces. Through an examination of their work, an interesting repetition to the material, the real objects, three-dimensional; Those that can be touched, grasped, feel though and on. Alongside the blurring boundaries between traditional fields of activity in design industries, those which give the designer the freedom to choose a tool or material that is not from a direect toolbox, the students turn to objects and 3D as a natural Visual communication expression tool.

The exhibition "Depth" seeks to linger for a moment and to observe an attempt to experience emotional depth and a significant connection through dealing with a real object. The action in 3D does not come Replace the work with 2D or screen. It wants to enrich the action and add to it’s depth.
