In a tense and extreme Israeli reality, which has recently undergone a burning polarization, the students of the Department of Visual Communication are intensively engaged in questions of identity and belonging to this place. This trend is characterized by the treatment of local, personal, familial, nostalgic or critical materials through which the Millennials attempt to direct a beam of light to signifiers who will guide them in defining the place and its character.
The annual exhibition of the Department of Visual Communication will deal with the place of the designer in Israeli society: what is his role as a society-state and how can he mark the place of the individual and the extent of his belonging?
